The Everest Short Trek begins!

With a breathtaking mountainous flight from the capital city; Kathmandu to the land enclosed by the high Himalayas; Lukla, the Everest short trek begins. Then, the trekking continues towards the village of Phakding crossing a suspension bridge over the fast flowing Dudh Koshi River and passing the quaint Chaurikharka village. Enjoying the vistas of beautiful mountains, landscapes, and traditional village setting throughout the trip, you reach the attractive and popular town in the Khumbu region; Namche Bazaar.

Here, you will witness the view of Mt. Everest as well as sunset and sunrise that makes the scene of mountains more captivating. Reaching to Namche, you will pass many suspension bridges, lush vegetation, rhododendron and pine forests. Also, the trails take you to the entrance of the Sagarmatha National Park.
