DETAILED ITINERARY

Arrive at the airport in Kathmandu! You will be received by our representative and transferred to a hotel in Kathmandu. Check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the time on your own. Our representative will brief you about your plan ahead. Stay at the hotel for the night. (Breakfast included)

Today you will be headed to the UNESCO listed world heritage sites in Kathmandu. After your breakfast, your guide will receive you at the hotel and transfer you to the Kathmandu Durbar Square. Here, you can explore the historical monuments, temples, and palaces built during the medieval period in Nepal. It is a fine piece of art, culture, and history. After exploring the artistic beauty of those palaces, temples, and museum, you will be headed to Swayambhunath stupa, a reflection of Buddhist religion atop a hill that offers a picturesque view of Kathmandu city as a whole. Next on the sightseeing journey is the ancient and popular Pashupatinath temple. It is a temple of Lord Shiva that holds high value amongst Hindu pilgrims. We wander around the temple, explore its religious value and head towards Boudhanath stupa. After exploring Boudhanath stupa placed on the three-layered mandala, we wrap up our journey with a drive to Nagarkot. Stay at a hotel in Nagarkot for the night. (Breakfast included)

Nagarkot is a popular viewpoint near Kathmandu, offering panoramic views of mountains in Nepal. It is said that on a clear day, even Mt. Everest is visible from here. We wake up early in the morning for mesmerizing views of sunrise from the view tower in Nagarkot. The golden rays of the sun over the towering ranges of the Himalayas look appealing. After relishing the pristine environment and mountain views from the tower, we descend to our hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we rest for a while and drive towards Kathmandu. On the way, we stop at Changunarayan and Bhaktapur Durbar Square to explore these UNESCO listed world heritage sites. The artistic beauty of palaces, monuments and temples will awe your heart. After admiring the historical beauty in those heritage sites, you will be dropped at the hotel in Kathmandu. You can enjoy the rest of the time on your own. (Breakfast and lunch included)

Today, you will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to a tourist bus station for a drive to Chitwan National Park. It takes around six hours to reach the park, but the lush countryside landscape along the highway will keep you engaged throughout the drive. Once you reach the park, our representative will brief you on the safari program along with scheduled activities. 1:00 p.m. Enjoy lunch. 2:00 p.m. explore the ethnic Tharu villages around the park, followed by a jungle excursion and walk to the Rapti River for sunset view. 7 p.m. Cultural program with Tharu dance and other recreational activities. 8 p.m. Dinner.

We enjoy our day exploring the wildlife in the dense jungle of Chitwan National Park. 6:00 a.m.: Wake up time. 6:30 a.m.: Breakfast time. 7:00 a.m.: Enjoy a jungle walk / elephant bathing / canoe ride along the Rapti river. 1:00 p.m.: Lunchtime. 3:00 p.m.: Get ready for elephant safari. 8:00 p.m.: Dinner time.

Early in the morning, we visit the Elephant Breeding Center and then wrap up our safari tour with a drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to a hotel in Lumbini. Check in, freshen up and rest for a while. In the evening, we stroll around the periphery of Lumbini and visit the World Peace Pagoda and Lumbini Crane Sanctuary. After the visit, return to the hotel for overnight stay. After breakfast, we head for a detailed exploration around Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, the light of Asia. It consists of multiple temples, monasteries, the Ashoka pillar, Mayadevi temple, and other monuments. The major places to visit include the footprints of Lord Buddha, Mayadevi temple and the Ashoka pillar, along with many other artistically built monasteries around the periphery, which one can visit depending on time. After the Lumbini visit, you will be transferred to Pokhara. In the evening, you can stroll around the lakeside and relish the pristine air of the city. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara. Early in the morning, we take a drive to Sarangkot, a beautiful point from where Pokhara city is clearly visible and a hub for adventure activities like paragliding, ultra-light flight, zip flyer, etc. - if interested, you can try one of these. Even the sunrise view from this point is magnificent. From Sarangkot, we head towards the lakeside and enjoy boating around Phewa Lake, visiting a temple in the middle of the lake, then head towards Gupteshwor temple inside a cave from which the inner part of Davis Falls is clearly visible. After exploring Gupteswor temple, we march towards Davis Falls, a magnificent fall with beautiful gardens in its periphery, where we can spend a few hours exploring. After this, we drive to the International Mountaineering Museum, a gateway to any trekking route in the Annapurna region, which holds old mountaineers' memorabilia and other items related to mountains and mountaineering in the Annapurna region. With this, we wrap up our sightseeing journey for the day. We stay at a hotel in Pokhara for the night. (Breakfast included)

Today, we wrap up our tour with a drive back to Kathmandu city. You will be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. (Breakfast and lunch included)
