Upper Mustang Trek

Upper Mustang Trek takes you to a remote place in the Mustang region of Nepal in between the wilderness of the Himalayas that is still untouched by any modernization. As you travel through the off beaten route of Upper Mustang trek, you will feel as if you have gone back to time! There is not a single touch of the outer world, and people still live a traditional and straightforward life. The region has preserved its culture, custom, religion, and practices intact till date. Often regarded as the Forbidden Kingdom, the place is unique with no any influence and control of the outer world and administrative center of Nepal.

Upper Mustang trek has a unique!

Upper Mustang trek has a unique – very dry and arid terrain. It receives decidedly less almost no rainfall. Its desert-like landscape with no vegetation makes this place even more exotic. The high walls in the dry ground with wild mountains in the backdrop make this place a picturesque location to beat. There are many hidden caves and ancient artistic monasteries in here. The prayer flags, gompas, and monasteries in this place reflect the Tibetan Buddhist culture that is prevalent in those areas. The local people residing here follow Buddhism and consider themselves to be the descendants of Tibet.

Being a trail seldom traveled, Upper Mustang Trek is often considered to be an adventurous and challenging journey. If you can adjust yourself in the places with decidedly fewer facilities and do not feel lost when out of contact with the rest of the world, this trek is probably the one for you. It is a unique wild nature with a preserved culture. You have enough capacity to endure the harsh terrain of Upper Mustang; Upper Mustang Trek is an insightful journey for you!
