DETAILED ITINERARY

Our representative will be there at the airport for picking you up and will transfer you to your desired hotel with a warm welcome. As you will have a long flight to Nepal we want you to rest today and promise to meet you next day. Overnight in a Hotel.

We have two major options to reach Pokhara, either by flight or by road. So after having breakfast, we will drive to the Domestic Airport if you choose to go by flight. This will take about a 25 minute flight to reach Pokhara. During your flight, you would get a chance to view majestic Himalayas which include Manaslu Peaks, Annapurnas, and the Langtang Himalaya range and others. Alternatively, if you choose to go by road you will have the best view of village life of the hilly region. You can get a chance to see beautiful rivers, terraced fields, villages and the highway of Nepal. You will transfer to a Hotel after arriving in Pokhara. Overnight in Hotel.

After having morning breakfast, your journey to the Annapurna Ghorepani Poon Hill trekking will start. After about a 1 to 1 and a half hour drive you will reach a place called Nayapul from where our trek begins. After all members of the trek are ready to go, we will start our first walk along a river to reach a place called Birethati (1000m). Here is a checkpoint to enter the Annapurna Conservation area, so after resting for a while we will climb steadily up the side of the valley to reach Hille (1510m), then the trail further leads you to Tikhedunga. Overnight in lodges/teahouses.

On the second day of the trek the walking might be quite harder because the trail drops and crosses the Bhurungdi Khola and ascends on a stone stair to reach the Magar village, Ulleri (2080m). The walk might be harder because you have to pass 3300 steps to reach this village. From Ulleri the route gently climbs through cultivated fields, Rhododendron forest, and beautiful green forests to reach Nangathanti (2460m). It will take about an hour to reach Ghorepani (2750m) from Nangathanti. Overnight in Lodges/teahouses.

This day is the most exciting and hard day during the trek. You have to wake up early morning and take a short hike to the hill station Poon Hill (3210m) to have a sunrise view. From here you would see the best views from Dhaulagiri I (8167m) and Tukuche (6920m) to Nilgiri (6940m), Annapurna South, Annapurna I (8091m), Hiuchhuli (6441m) and Tarke Kang (7193m), Gangapurna (7454m), Lamjung Himal (6986m) and Mt. Fishtail (Machhapuchhre 6997m). After sunrise and resting for a while we will descend down to the same lodge and have breakfast, then head to Tadapani. Overnight in Tadapani in Teahouses.

Today after breakfast our trail descends steeply through rhododendron forests to Baise Kharka. During your walk you might encounter monkeys and varieties of birds. After a 2 to 3 hour walk you will reach Ghandruk. Ghandruk is the second largest Gurung village in Nepal. Most of the Gurung families are in the British army and other international forces so you can interact with locals. Enjoying the best mountain views of Annapurna South and Fishtail, you can spend more time here with locals. Overnight in lodges/teahouses.

Today is our last day of trekking so we will not miss the local experience of the villages. We will descend down to the village through terraced rice fields and subtropical forests. We will follow the beautiful Modi Khola to reach Birethanti. After reaching Birethanti the trail makes a descending walk alongside the stream to reach Nayapul. When arriving at Nayapul there will be our private vehicle which will take us to Pokhara city. Overnight in Hotel.

As we told you earlier there are two options to get back to Kathmandu too. You can take a flight or take a drive to Kathmandu. In the evening we will offer you a Nepali cultural dinner show. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Our representative will help you get dropped at the Airport for your safe flight home. This is how your trip ends.

Client Reviews

"I was travelling solo as a woman and had some concerns. They were completely unfounded. The team was professional, the other trekkers were wonderful, and the mountain was everything I had hoped for."

Yuki Tanaka

Langtang Valley, 2023

"I've trekked with four different operators. It's difficult to put into words how much better this experience was. The logistics were invisible — everything just worked. I'll be back for Annapurna next year."

James Ekator

Annapurna Circuit, 2024

"We had done treks before, but this was different. The itinerary was thoughtful, the acclimatisation days were genuinely restful, and our guide knew every family along the route. I felt safe the entire time."
