Though we carry a basic medical kit with us, it is highly recommended to bring a medical kit with you as well. Your medical kit may consist of the following things:
- Sphygmomanometer (for measuring blood pressure)
- Syringes (20 ml, 10 ml)
- Stethoscope
- Thermometer
- Matchbox
- Splints
- Scissors
- Tongue blades
- Pen light
- Cervical collar
- Sterile gauge pads (large and small)
- Band-aids
- Triangular Bandages / Elastic Bandages/ Adhesive Tapes
- Eye pads/ Cotton roll (large and small)/Q-tips
- Safety pins
- Medications
- For Pain – Paracetamol/ Aspirin
- For Allergy – Avil / Benadryl Syrup/ Trexyl
- For Eye infection – Neosporin Ophthalmic Cream
- For Throat and Lung infection – Amoxicillin
- For Abdomen infection – Metronidazole / Tinidazole
- For Open Wounds – Cloxacillion and Cephalexin
- For urinary infections – Narfloxacin
- Disinfectants – Betadine/ Miconazole Cream/ Silver sulphadiazine
