Annapurna Skyline Treks is known as “The Annapurna Royal Trek” after this route was first traversed by Prince Charles of England in early eighties. Along with Prince Charles, there were 90 other people who explore this region. Mick Jagger a famous English singer, songwriter, actor, and film producer was also part of this trekking group. So this trek is known as “The Royal Trek”.

Annapurna Royal Trek!

Annapurna Skyline Trek starts with a 30-minute drive in a private vehicle to Bijayapur Khola. After a while; Will your walk starts and you will pass through amazing terraced rice fields and scattered homesteads, Here your walking pace will be unhurried and steady. Continuously walking through terrace field you have to ascend up through green forests and beautiful stone-stepped route to reach Kalikasthan at approx. 1300m. It will take you around 4 to 5 hours in total to reach Kalikasthan with a steady walking pace. As this day the walking is short and easy you can enjoy your walk and also you can have plenty of time to rest in the jungle and capture the memories. The first day’s altitude gain will be approx. 660m.

You can have the best sunset view from Chisapani in the evening before having the first dinner of the trek. Early in the morning, you will have the best Mountain View if the weather will be clear. If luck favors you then you will get a chance to see spectacular views of Mt. Dhaulagiri in the west, to Mt. Manaslu in the east and with the Annapurnas in between. From this place, you can see three 8000m mountains. After today this trek is taking you on a four-day loop through the Himalayan foothills and ending up at Begnas Lake. Begnas Lake is located in the south-east of the Pokhara valley which is also the third largest lake of Nepal. After 04 days of ascending and descending trekking trail of Annapurna Skyline Trek, you will transfer to the Hotel at Pokhara.

Next day you will be transferred safely to Kathmandu by a private vehicle and your lovely trip is ends.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Today after having breakfast in your hotel, you will be picked up from your hotel. There are two options to reach Pokhara; by flight and by private transportation. A domestic flight takes around 30 minutes and a road trip takes around 7-8 hours to reach Pokhara. If you would like to spend more time in Pokhara then you can choose the fly option, if not the road trip is also worth it! The highway to Pokhara valley passes rivers, green valleys, rice terraces, local villages and also you can have wonderful views of the Himalayas. Depending on your arrival time in the city, or if you're already in Pokhara, you can use the day for sightseeing around Pokhara Valley. Overnight in Hotel.

Today after having a wonderful breakfast at the Pokhara Hotel, we along with our crew member will drive to Bijayopur Khola and start our short trek. From there we will cross the beautiful Bijaypur River and follow a huge trail which goes through the paddy fields along the river, towards Begnas Lake. This day the trail will lead through Brahmin, Chhetri and Gurung villages to reach Kalikasthan. After reaching Kalikasthan, where we will end our walk for today, you can have breathtaking mountain views including Annapurna, Machhapuchhare and other mountains of the Annapurna region. Overnight in lodge/teahouses. Walking time: 4-5 hours.

On the second day of your trek you will be offered a great mountain view before breakfast. The Annapurna skyline trek will offer you the most amazing mountain views in the Annapurna region. Today you will walk through a forested ridge and pass the top of the hill Thulakhet Mathi Than where you can have a great rest. After a short climb and walk along the villages, your trek finally reaches Shaklung Village which is the ending destination of today's walk. Overnight in Lodge/teahouses. Walking time: 5-6 hours.

Today is your 3rd day of the Annapurna Skyline Trek, so we are heading to Chisopani which is located at an altitude of 1550m. Today this trek leads through beautiful rhododendron forest, Sal Trees and many ascents and descents to reach Chisopani Village. During your walk, you will get a chance to have magnificent views of Annapurna II, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu and many other mountains with panoramic views of the Annapurna mountain range. There is something you should not miss while you are in this village - a beautiful Temple, located above the village. Overnight in lodges/teahouses. Walking time: 5-6 hours.

Today is your final day of the Annapurna Skyline Trekking. From Chisopani we will descend along the ridge for about an hour to reach stone-steps and a small valley. Further, we will cross a bridge across the stream that feeds Rupa Lake, which is also a lake located in Pokhara. During your walk, you will get a chance to interact with locals and pass by different villages to reach Begnas Lake. After spending some time at Begnas Lake we will head towards the Pokhara lakeside area. Overnight in Hotel.

Same as before, you have two options to reach Kathmandu - by road or by flight. So after your breakfast we will head towards Kathmandu. Once you reach Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel and our company will offer you a farewell dinner in the evening.
