Upper Mustang trek has a unique!
Upper Mustang trek has a unique – very dry and arid terrain. It receives decidedly less almost no rainfall. Its desert-like landscape with no vegetation makes this place even more exotic. The high walls in the dry ground with wild mountains in the backdrop make this place a picturesque location to beat. There are many hidden caves and ancient artistic monasteries in here. The prayer flags, gompas, and monasteries in this place reflect the Tibetan Buddhist culture that is prevalent in those areas. The local people residing here follow Buddhism and consider themselves to be the descendants of Tibet.
